ParticipantJust upgraded my shield tv to the latest Android P.
Now PP no longer works. I’ll attempt an uninstall and reinstall but my doubts and experience tell me it’s futile.
Best regards,

KeymasterWhat’s the exact problem? Could you, please, describe in more details?

ParticipantLooks like an uninstall and reinstall did the trick. It’s a miracle 😊

ParticipantSame issue here. After Pie upgrade, crash after crash after crash. Did uninstall and reinstall and it didn’t help
Seems by the forums, whenever there is an “upgrade” PP is behind the 8 ball.
HELP!!!02.08.2019 at 10:35 #41561nikman
KeymasterNauttiNTrouble, try to:
– Uncheck Settings->Advanced->Download supposed logos
– Set another Settings->General->Logos directory (or make Backup settings->Restore settigs sequence) to reset logos cachePlease, feedback if the issue will not be fixed.

ParticipantHowdy,
Just a note for others…As I click PP down through the list of channels, when I get to one channel (always the same channel) PP simply drops out abruptly returning to the Nvidia home screen as if I had excited the app properly.
I’ve got 3 iptv providers (I know I know… Overkill). After a lot of testing I discovered one of the providers (not to mention any names but the initials are Helix) is the culprit.
As soon as I get to one of their channels in the list PP closes without notice. There is never any problem if I simply unchecked them on the Playlist.
I applied the nikman fix above and I can now pass through all channels on all providers. Of course I’ve lost the channel logos on that single provider. I don’t know if the problem lies with them or PP.
Wish I had a logos directory to fall back on but…?
Best regards,

ParticipantTried above (Niklab) suggestion to no avail. Tried uninstall and reinstall again. Did it and restarted Nvidia….. nothing.

It will also happen to a channel it “locks in” on. I can have a steady stream (dare no change the channel) but that too will randomly bounce out.No idea how to find the aforementioned helix streams (are they their own iptv?)
And for more info…. as i cycle through channel groups is when it dies. Varies which group list because it is several.

ParticipantHelix is an iptv provider. Until this gets sorted I doubt you’ll want to get their stream. They prefer their customers use the profile instead of the Playlist. I use both.
They are at https://helixhosting.ninja
They are a bit pricey but their quality makes them worthwhile.
I can stream fine as well. The only way I get kicked out is by turning on helix playlist and then scrolling through the channel list. I’ll always get booted on the same channel. I think it’s always the first channel that comes from them. If they are the only playlist selected then I’m kicked out immediately. No scrolling needed.
You might want to try a trial with KS-hosting. They are always good through all channels. Google ’em

ParticipantHello,
Love PP so hope someone can help.
I’ve recently signed up to a 2nd provider, entered the URLs for the playlist and epg in seetings.
1st provider works as intended.
With the 2nd provider though, when I scroll so far down the channels in any category, PP unexpectedly quits.
I know there were older issues where font size couldn’t be set as small, and download supposed logos couldn’t be checked.
I have changed both these settings but still have the same problem.
I am using a Nvidia Shield. Hope someone can help!
